College Candidate Building
Our experts make Houston students into Ivy League applicants.
Prepare Yourself for College Admissions
Contrary to popular belief, admissions committees want specialists, not well rounded students. The days where a high GPA and exceptional test scores guaranteed admission at a top university have passed. Academia is not enough to get into America’s top universities. Over 75% of applicants to MIT are academically qualified, yet only 5% are admitted. What sets them apart? Extracurricular achievement.
Ivy Scholars Candidacy Building (CB) program is designed for high achieving students who want to attend highly competitive colleges. Our process takes place over 4 stages. Once you and your family signed up, your student is assigned to a mentor. Our mentors have attended top-tier universities across the world such as Harvard, Columbia, Oxford, Rice, and Johns Hopkins.
Choosing the Right Major
Putting it All Together
The result of our Candidacy Building program may include recognition for your student’s extracurricular achievements. This will significantly improve their chances of admission at Top Tier universities. For example, Stanford ranks student extracurricular achievement from 1-5, with 5 being the best and 1 being the worst. If a student were to only participate in standard extracurricular activities, they would be ranked as a 2. This would include things such as being involved in the National Honor Society. However, after our program, a student could be ranked as a 4-5 if they are recognized for their passion.
Ivy Scholars Candidacy Building program is the perfect way to set your child up for success both in college admissions and in their career. Our program will help your student discover their passions and career aspirations. Your student will work with their mentor to explore these passions and interests by reaching out to nonprofits and other organizations in pursuit of internships.
